In the 11th match minute, Sertanejo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Luz to maneuver through the defense. Just For Fun's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 12th minute of the game, when Ciro Baldassarre after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Sertanejo SS's goal. Ciro Baldassarre was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Edmondo Palone scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cícero de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carter Petrella struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Cícero de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Just For Fun. The audience was convinced that Carter Petrella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cícero de Salles was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Sertanejo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Petrella came free, but Cícero de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With splendid footwork Edmondo Palone arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. Carter Petrella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Zé Paulo Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sertanejo SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Pasinati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Carter Petrella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cícero de Salles was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Carter Petrella scored 3-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cícero de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmondo Palone received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cícero de Salles came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmondo Palone slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 40th minute. Cícero de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Selvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Edmondo Palone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paulo Cosme was the one to do the kick off. Sertanejo SS's Cícero de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Palone in the 53rd minute of play. Cícero de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Busillo in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Just For Fun's Enzo Pasinati got control of the ball when Alfredinho Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Palone in the 58th minute of play forced Sertanejo SS's goalkeeper Cícero de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Ciro Baldassarre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Arrigo Selvi sped through Sertanejo SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cícero de Salles. If Arrigo Selvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Selvi in the 69th minute of play forced Sertanejo SS's goalkeeper Cícero de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Palone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sertanejo SS's Luciano Luz got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sertanejo SS's zone, Edmondo Palone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cícero de Salles came out of the goal and Edmondo Palone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Just For Fun's Edmondo Palone got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sertanejo SS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcelinho Vieira hit a great ball. Carter Petrella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero de Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. When Just For Fun's Edmondo Palone in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sertanejo SS's goalie prevented a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Diego Galliani put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Just For Fun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sertanejo SS:s goal. If Carter Petrella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos Busillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cícero de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Amos Busillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Just For Fun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amos Busillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ciro Baldassarre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Baldassarre in the 100th minute of play forced Sertanejo SS's goalkeeper Cícero de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
