After 9 played minutes Boi AD got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Arruda. 10 minutes into the game, Carlomagno Castellano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rubinho Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlomagno Castellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlomagno Castellano in the 19th minute of play forced Boi AD's goalkeeper Rubinho Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Carlomagno Castellano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antequera Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlomagno Castellano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Juan-Luis Japón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antequera Fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elivélton Palmeira 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 37 minutes of play, Antequera Fc's Romulo Cambero made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubinho Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlomagno Castellano in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Romulo Cambero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Palmeira made a kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Romulo Cambero from a close distance when the talented Rubinho Cunha managed to make a qualified save. Boi AD's players were relieved. Romulo Cambero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubinho Cunha having to make a save. Carlomagno Castellano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Boi AD defense, Romulo Cambero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubinho Cunha. The Boi AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubinho Cunha should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Boi AD getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Silas Mello hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Antequera Fc got a freekick which was hit by Cordairo Ramos. 66 minutes into the game, Elivélton Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boi AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antequera Fc the free kick. After 66 played minutes Boi AD got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Palmeira. Benjamim Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance for a goal. Romulo Cambero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlomagno Castellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Abellan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Palmeira in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes in the game, Carlomagno Castellano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rubinho Cunha having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silas Mello during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, one of Boi AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boi AD. In the 84th minute, Antequera Fc got a penalty, and Loramendi Echeto placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlomagno Castellano during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlomagno Castellano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Boi AD getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ronaldinho Neto hit a great ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Carlomagno Castellano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antequera Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlomagno Castellano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Antequera Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Bernal to maneuver through the defense. Boi AD were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Antequera Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adriano Ramos took the corner. The corner ended in Adriano Ramos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Antequera Fc's Laureano Abellan did a great save. The Antequera Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Antequera Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
