Železničar Pančevo's Savo Marković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Domingo in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Tanasko Jelić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Galego. Palmeiras Atletico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tanasko Jelić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The Palmeiras Atletico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Galego should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Tanasko Jelić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Argider Jareño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Savo Marković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Železničar Pančevo played a much better game than Palmeiras Atletico and deserved their victory. The Palmeiras Atletico players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
