The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Higinio Fraco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Björkkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Björkkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BoomFunkMCs getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kenny Björkkvist hit a great ball. Wilfredo Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Söderström in the 6th minute of the match. BoomFunkMCs's Kjell Söderström got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Staffan Lundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wilfredo Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Söderström in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, La Masía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Berto to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosendo Kimetz's late challenge caught a BoomFunkMCs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Kimetz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BoomFunkMCs booed when La Masía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Kimetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Kenny Björkkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Gizon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Kjell Söderström put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wilfredo Procopio. BoomFunkMCs's Sten Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Tulio in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Kjell Söderström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilfredo Procopio, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Fraco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BoomFunkMCs's Sten Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Bernat in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Masía's Isidro Berto got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Folke Lindgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Isidro Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute, Kjell Söderström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Kjell Söderström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Masía's Wilfredo Procopio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the BoomFunkMCs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
