Reinaldo Perez's late challenge caught a TIINDDRCCATS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Perez helped the player get up and apologised. Reinaldo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Heini Nikolic sped through Sertanejo SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cícero de Salles. In the 15th minute, Zé Paulo Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Manfred Sahr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cícero de Salles. Sertanejo SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Sahr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Heini Nikolic notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sertanejo SS's Cícero de Salles. Cícero de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of TIINDDRCCATS booed when Sertanejo SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Sertanejo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Cosme to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Heini Nikolic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cícero de Salles was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Paulo Cosme made a kick off. Manfred Sahr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero de Salles having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as TIINDDRCCATS's Manfred Sahr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cícero de Salles. That made the score 0-9 after 60 minutes of play. Reinaldo Perez was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
