A sloppy throw-in by Garikoitz Valdivia in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by karasuno's Saverio Eguzki. Cabildo Y La Campana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave karasuno the free kick. After having played for 13 minutes, Tomas Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. karasuno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Ospin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucio Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ambrosio Bencoiechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Candela charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Candela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. karasuno made a substitution. Melquiades Kemen replaced Lucio Librado. Angel Lizardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabildo Y La Campana. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
52 minutes into the game, Cabildo Y La Campana's Noé Molina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Lizardi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Kemen in the 60th minute of play forced Cabildo Y La Campana's goalkeeper Jesús Gonzáles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
