When Gaston Ferrer fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorrillos FC's protests and gave Gaston Ferrer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chorrillos FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gaston Ferrer hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Rosendo Peruanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubinho Cunha. Boi AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Peruanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Istvan Kowalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório de Queirós in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Adriano Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boi AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorrillos FC the free kick. Gaston Ferrer placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a little luck, Chorrillos FC's Istvan Kowalski got control of the ball when Elivélton Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonso Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rubinho Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Peruanton in the 32nd minute of play. Denílson Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Chorrillos FC's Alfonso Bilintx made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Rosendo Peruanton put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Rubinho Cunha. In the 45th minute, Luís Fabiano Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chorrillos FC's Rosendo Peruanton got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Bilintx to make the kick off. Rosendo Peruanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rubinho Cunha made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alfonso Bilintx took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Rubinho Cunha to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório de Queirós in the 58th minute of play forced Chorrillos FC's goalkeeper Istvan Kowalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Istvan Kowalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Palmeira in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Rosendo Peruanton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Raimundo Rodas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubinho Cunha came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Rodas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 72nd minute. Angelino Abadia hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Elivélton Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Istvan Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Cunha having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Frédson Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Alfonso Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chorrillos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaston Ferrer in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Angelino Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Istvan Kowalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frédson Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Rosendo Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chorrillos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
