In the 11th minute, Rosendo Peruanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chorrillos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rosendo Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Chorrillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Abadia. Geronimo Santana hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Jorge Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorrillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Vincente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Rosendo Peruanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Abellan. Antequera Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Peruanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a little luck, Chorrillos FC's Istvan Kowalski got control of the ball when Wilfredo Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Istvan Kowalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlomagno Castellano in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlomagno Castellano to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Peruanton got free with Laureano Abellan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Antequera Fc's Wilfredo Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Istvan Kowalski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
