Doni Pimenta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Gabriel Leme sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante didn't even have to move. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Juan Velloso pulled a muscle in his back after 94 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Peder Neira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Palestra do Interior players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
