The referee showed Mathias Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mathias Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Mathias Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Vidal in the 13th minute of the match. Dedé Alagoano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Bob Craft kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Vides in the 20th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Carmelo James shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Di Yuan Liang in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Di Yuan Liang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio de Azevedo. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Di Yuan Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Di Yuan Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Di Yuan Liang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Di Yuan Liang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Yuan Liang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match Pombal 2003 F.C. got a corner. BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michel Toscano ran over to the corner to take the kick. 56 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Vidal came free, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, André Luiz Vides dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Fabiano de Lima, 3-1. Sérgio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro-Gabriel Viana's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute.
