Øyvind Norman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Dante's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Øyvind Norman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Dante went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Dante in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Øyvind Norman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvinho Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Rossi in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Dante in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Øyvind Norman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th match minute, São Paulo da Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. In the 28thth minute of the game Nestor Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Paulo da Floresta's Øyvind Norman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to São Paulo da Floresta getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Washington Ortiz hit a great ball. Nestor Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Øyvind Norman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Dante came free, but Øyvind Norman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Nestor Dante put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Øyvind Norman. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Paulo da Floresta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erivaldo Mineiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Capivariano F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Øyvind Norman came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivariano F.C.'s Nestor Dante. But to his dismay, Nestor Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The supporters of São Paulo da Floresta booed when Capivariano F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Nestor Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capivariano F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Dante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Nestor Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Øyvind Norman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Dante ran back to his position shaking his head. Narciso Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Øyvind Norman made a huge save. 邱然亮 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, one of São Paulo da Floresta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for São Paulo da Floresta. Øyvind Norman had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Erivaldo Mineiro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nilton Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øyvind Norman having to interfere. Nestor Dante in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Øyvind Norman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Øyvind Norman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With his leg Øyvind Norman managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Capivariano F.C.'s Nestor Dante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Capivariano F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erivaldo Mineiro in the 87th minute. Rodriguinho Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Øyvind Norman having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Dênis Mesquita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvinho Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dênis Mesquita went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. Capivariano F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
