Kaká Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Joel Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Kaká Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaká Goiano. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Goiano in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Goiano in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio de Azevedo saved BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kaká Goiano sped through BMB IMOVEIS SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sérgio de Azevedo. When AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalie prevented a goal. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 36th minute of play. AF CERRADO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Travassos in the 37th minute. The corner led AF CERRADO's Richard Travassos to fire away a dangerous shot which Sérgio de Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Leal came free, but Sérgio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Kaká Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Donato Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaká Goiano made a kick off. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Sérgio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Goiano in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Reinaldo Zanette got a free kick in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jefferson Aparecido during the 75th minute. It was a well-played corner which André Luiz Vides managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Goiano in the 83rd minute of play. During the 88th minute of the match Jefferson Aparecido completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jefferson Aparecido a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Goiano in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio de Azevedo saved BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaká Goiano in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Cordeiro hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
