Jerônimo Mendonça hit a great ball. Sandrinho Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Nóbrega in the 13th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaká Goiano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Zé Roberto Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio da Costa made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Kaká Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Caio da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Vinícius Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
