After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Betão Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granadero10's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Telmo Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Senna in the 15th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Gugu Travassos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. A.A. Francana's Telmo Trigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Betão Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Denílson Leite got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Gugu Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Telmo Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Telmo Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruy Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Barros having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Adolfo Leite was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Loyola. Gugu Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válbson Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Gugu Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes, Tiago Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granadero10 and the A.A. Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gugu Travassos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Granadero10 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
