In the 39th minute of the match CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a corner. BRASIL.Sp's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arí Machado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Felippe Paranaense heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durval Meireles during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cícero da Costa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Sroki to maneuver through the defense. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BRASIL.Sp's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 66th minute Lon Lanteigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Dantas in the 68th minute of the match. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing BRASIL.Sp to leave the ground with a draw.
