The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Meireles got free with Edson de Souza in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 36th minute. A A Arizona's Edson de Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durval Meireles was the one to do the kick off.
