The referee ignored Ogro F.C.'s protests and gave Joel Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Joel Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Penha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cacá Britovskiy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. Durval Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Duplantier in the 14th minute of the match. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Osmar Maciel replaced Ingo Schwichtenberg. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Aposan to make the kick off. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Duplantier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Coritiba Foot Ball Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
