Clóvis Cabral started the match with the kick off. A A Arizona's Edson de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 3rd minute of play. Clóvis Cabral took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edson de Souza. Edson de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Clóvis Cabral hit a great ball. Clóvis Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edson de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Edson de Souza made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Clóvis Cabral sent off a good shot on target. Edson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Cabral in the 21st minute of the match. Lionel-Andrés Iniesta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Edson de Souza made a huge save. Edson de Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 25th minute. When Clóvis Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Cabral couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Lionel-Andrés Iniesta got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Clóvis Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson de Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Dráusio Nóbrega got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Clóvis Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Clóvis Cabral notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of A A Arizona's Edson de Souza. Edson de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sune Rudberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Paranaense went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valério Paranaense made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Flavinho Cabral put in a rough tackle. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™! Sune Rudberg had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Luiz Paulo de Queirós's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Paulo de Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sune Rudberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lionel-Andrés Iniesta might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson de Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lionel-Andrés Iniesta ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lionel-Andrés Iniesta in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edson de Souza saved A A Arizona from getting behind. Edson de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo de Queirós hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Rüknettin Aysan made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edson de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edson de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Rüknettin Aysan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüknettin Aysan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rüknettin Aysan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s protests and gave Rüknettin Aysan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Aysan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta in the 95th minute of the match. Edson de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Iniesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ had played much better football throughout.
