With a little luck, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Durval Messias got control of the ball when Durval Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cacá Britovskiy took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Quadros. Wilson Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Percy Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRASIL.Sp's protests and gave Percy Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. Percy Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Walmir Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. BRASIL.Sp's Wilson Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Teles in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Teles came free, but Wilson Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Coritiba Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lobo Londrina hit a great ball. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Higuera didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcos Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The BRASIL.Sp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coritiba Foot Ball Club were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durval Meireles was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos in the 52nd minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Durval Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Wilson Quadros made a huge save. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution.
