Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) CON-E-CO's Servando Ariste started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Southampton AFC's Quentin Seward proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Southampton AFC from getting a goal against them. Dave Halliday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Southampton AFC's zone, Servando Ariste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quentin Seward came out of the goal and Servando Ariste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goal looked a bit too open when Barrie Peakman came free, but Bibiano Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, CON-E-CO's Servando Ariste dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Bibiano Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Halliday, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anibal Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Seward made an important save on a dangerous shot by Servando Ariste in the 33rd minute. Bibiano Barbosa came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Southampton AFC's Verne Addison. But to his dismay, Verne Addison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servando Ariste in the 36th minute of play forced Southampton AFC's goalkeeper Quentin Seward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrie Peakman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamie Purkiss lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th match minute, Southampton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Purkiss to maneuver through the defense. Quentin Seward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argider Lizundia in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Barrie Peakman made the kick off in the second half. If Eric Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Southampton AFC's Quentin Seward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toti Iglesias in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Toti Iglesias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CON-E-CO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Quentin Seward came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by CON-E-CO's Toti Iglesias. But to his dismay, Toti Iglesias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The audience was convinced that Toti Iglesias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quentin Seward was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's Toti Iglesias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quentin Seward narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calum Fieldwick kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Toti Iglesias made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Southampton AFC's Quentin Seward tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Toti Iglesias made a precise shot to the right of Quentin Seward. Southampton AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After 81 minutes of play, CON-E-CO's Toti Iglesias made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentin Seward was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toti Iglesias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Southampton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Toti Iglesias came free, but Quentin Seward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Southampton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verne Addison to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Toti Iglesias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Seward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Southampton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Toti Iglesias came free, but Quentin Seward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, CON-E-CO's Toti Iglesias made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentin Seward was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CON-E-CO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Southampton AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
