Geraldo de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Arve Olstad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquaral Campineiro. In the 15th minute Geraldo de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arve Olstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morten Klaussen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Amílton Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the FC Lechia Stavanger defense, Armando Donatello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arve Olstad. The supporters of Taquaral Campineiro booed when FC Lechia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position.
