After having played for 4 minutes, Halil Ratkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gotham Saray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil Ratkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Cremer-Ricken in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timm Reimhede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serkan Gaar took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timm Reimhede. Timm Reimhede dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Nissum FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Jordbro to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Frank Cremer-Ricken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timm Reimhede. Nissum FV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Cremer-Ricken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Apolo Egoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severin Urfe, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Gaar in the 18th minute of play forced Nissum FV's goalkeeper Timm Reimhede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timm Reimhede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serkan Gaar in the 20th minute of the match. Timm Reimhede didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serkan Gaar went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Gotham Saray FC booed when Nissum FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmer Lindenborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serkan Gaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severin Urfe hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Timm Reimhede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Cremer-Ricken, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Serkan Gaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gotham Saray FC's Frank Cremer-Ricken got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severin Urfe was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Gaar in the 52nd minute of play forced Nissum FV's goalkeeper Timm Reimhede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Serkan Gaar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Timm Reimhede, passed just outside the right post. Serkan Gaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Timm Reimhede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Frank Cremer-Ricken lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Timm Reimhede. If Tue Sivenboom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serkan Gaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Timm Reimhede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gotham Saray FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ingmar Müller hit a great ball. Gotham Saray FC made a substitution. Hans Grabs replaced Serkan Gaar. In the 83rd minute, Ingmar Müller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tue Sivenboom hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Gotham Saray FC got a freekick which was hit by Till Schiefer. Ingmar Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Grøtner hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Gotham Saray FC's Leik Blumenthal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gotham Saray FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
