In the 3rd minute Freddy Hagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Rzentkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Kluska kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Sandor Fabisch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neversdorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandor Fabisch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kajetan Rzentkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seks w cyca's Kajetan Rzentkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Borak in the 18th minute of play. Kajetan Rzentkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niko Eisele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenico Borak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Borak in the 41st minute of play forced Seks w cyca's goalkeeper Kajetan Rzentkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Ali Schmitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neversdorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenico Borak made a kick off. If Zachary Miecznikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The tension between the Neversdorf and the Seks w cyca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Seks w cyca booed when Neversdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niko Eisele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Seks w cyca's Zachary Miecznikowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
