FlagellumDei's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Attila Takács kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Félix Moravecz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FlagellumDei from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Vajka FC's Pál Túri got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Kozák in the 24th minute of play forced Vajka FC's goalkeeper Yakut Bergin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun got control of the ball when Pál Túri tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Félix Moravecz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vajka FC's Yakut Bergin. Yakut Bergin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Dominik Szoboszlai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vajka FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Zoltán Kozák struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Yakut Bergin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FlagellumDei. In the 44th match minute, FlagellumDei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Döbrögi to maneuver through the defense. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pál Túri in the 45th minute of the match. Mihály Bíró kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Yakut Bergin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Félix Moravecz's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoltán Kozák was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes FlagellumDei got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Csányi. 59 minutes into the match, Zoltán Kozák had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yakut Bergin. Vajka FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zoltán Kozák was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Giorgos Charisteas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Kozák in the 65th minute of play forced Vajka FC's goalkeeper Yakut Bergin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Túri, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by FlagellumDei's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pál Túri was slow to take the kick. During this time Vajka FC's players had a chance to rest. Pál Túri made a great header on Vajka FC's corner, it was just that FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 80th minute Pál Túri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
