The Nagyváradi AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jos Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabien Van Daelen went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Bermudez in the 24th minute of play forced Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Jos Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pál Mester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 25th minute of play. Pál Mester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ákos Szél had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pál Mester. Red Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ákos Szél was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 36 minutes into the match, Nagyváradi AC's Vencel Pápai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pál Mester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Devils's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ábel Zarka was slow to take the kick. During this time Nagyváradi AC's players had a chance to rest. Pál Mester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ákos Szél had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pál Mester. Pál Mester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute Ákos Szél shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Károly Baranyai in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vencel Pápai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pál Mester was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Nagyváradi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cemal Metin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hong Xing Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pál Mester made a huge save. The Red Devils supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nagyváradi AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nagyváradi AC.
