János Földvári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Mei in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto de Queirós came free, but János Földvári reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Lyle Coppack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wayne Rooney in the 16th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Carlos Mei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's János Földvári was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. János Földvári stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Mei's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jiang Shi Chao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyle Coppack was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Bruno Alberico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Alberico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Mei in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck János Földvári prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ediberto de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's players had a chance to rest. Ediberto de Queirós made a great header on Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's corner, it was just that ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's János Földvári managed to reach the ball for a save. János Földvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mei in the 40th minute of the match. Ladislao Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyle Coppack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Rooney in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Mei made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dávid Baroch in the 52nd minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Lyle Coppack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Alberico made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jiang Shi Chao however managed to control. In the 57th minute Burç Sehhar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyle Coppack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dávid Baroch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Richárd Bányai was substituted for Burç Sehhar. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ made a substitution. Gergő Tisza replaced Dávid Baroch. Carlos Mei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but János Földvári made a huge save. Carlos Mei might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over János Földvári. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Mei ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Mei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but János Földvári made a huge save. János Földvári made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Mei in the 81st minute. Lyle Coppack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wayne Rooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalkeeper János Földvári had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Mei. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wayne Rooney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Richárd Bányai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
