Alex Zádori hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Lázár Csiszár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mátyás Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levente Pucheli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gelse's goalkeeper Mátyás Horváth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Mátyás Horváth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Zádori in the 51st minute. Alex Zádori scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mátyás Horváth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
