In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerebral FC's goalkeeper Árpád Gyenes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, János Dénes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Árpád Gyenes. Cerebral FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that János Dénes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cerebral FC's Árpád Gyenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Kiss in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling József Kiss in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Árpád Gyenes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Árpád Gyenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Dénes in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Kiss in the 17th minute of play forced Cerebral FC's goalkeeper Árpád Gyenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Csiszár kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute János Dénes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Gyenes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. At last the ball reached Dániel Takács at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Cerebral FC. 0-2. Árpád Gyenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Kiss in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cerebral FC's Géza Dobos got a free kick in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Cerebral FC's goal looked a bit too open when János Dénes came free, but Árpád Gyenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If József Kiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. József Kiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the game, József Kiss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Árpád Gyenes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerebral FC's goalkeeper Árpád Gyenes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Szentlőrinc SE's József Kiss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Árpád Gyenes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Cerebral FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Szentlőrinc SE were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when József Kiss made the kick off in the second half. Árpád Gyenes made an important save on a dangerous shot by József Kiss in the 53rd minute. After 58 played minutes Cerebral FC got a freekick which was hit by Szilárd Kiss. Cerebral FC's Árpád Gyenes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cerebral FC from getting a goal against them. József Kiss who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Árpád Gyenes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. József Kiss struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Árpád Gyenes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szentlőrinc SE. Cerebral FC's Olivér Gyenes was substituted for Géza Dobos. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerebral FC's goalkeeper Árpád Gyenes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zsolt Keresztes fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerebral FC's protests and gave Zsolt Keresztes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cerebral FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zsolt Keresztes hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Dániel Takács ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Árpád Gyenes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After some careless play in the Cerebral FC defense, Gyula Földvári kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Árpád Gyenes. The Cerebral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Árpád Gyenes should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the match, Cerebral FC's goalkeeper Árpád Gyenes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gyula Földvári.
