After 12 played minutes Mesterháza got a freekick which was hit by Higinio García. In the 15th minute, János Dénes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zoltán Pataki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. József Kiss in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zoltán Pataki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, János Dénes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Mihály Cseh with Wilfredo Bermudez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dénes Dibusz had in the 100thth minute some difficulties stopping János Gerő's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. János Gerő took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dénes Dibusz. Dénes Dibusz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
