The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Văcărescu got free with Corneliu Giurgiu in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to CBF Csikszereda getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eliodor Brezeanu hit a great ball. Emil Văcărescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Corneliu Giurgiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Corneliu Giurgiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Jatsu in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Sângeorzan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Curea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Petruț Sângeorzan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Curea was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Jatsu in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Giurgiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Emil Văcărescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Corneliu Giurgiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, CBF Csikszereda's goalkeeper Corneliu Giurgiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Văcărescu. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Văcărescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corneliu Giurgiu. That made the score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 31st minute, Dan Goiciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, CBF Csikszereda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Ciutacu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Emil Văcărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC MiLaN's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Văcărescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Giurgiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CBF Csikszereda booed when AC MiLaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Vlaicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emil Văcărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CBF Csikszereda's Corneliu Giurgiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Jatsu in the 44th minute of play. Emil Văcărescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Jatsu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corneliu Giurgiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvio Jatsu had several of the CBF Csikszereda's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Corneliu Giurgiu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd match minute, CBF Csikszereda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Brezeanu to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, CBF Csikszereda's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Văcărescu came free, but Corneliu Giurgiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Văcărescu in the 57th minute of play forced CBF Csikszereda's goalkeeper Corneliu Giurgiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, AC MiLaN's Silvio Jatsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Giurgiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Corneliu Giurgiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Radu Tremurici charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radu Tremurici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CBF Csikszereda booed when AC MiLaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Tremurici didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Emil Văcărescu made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. CBF Csikszereda's Corneliu Giurgiu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victor Curea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Sângeorzan in the 76th minute of the match. Petruț Sângeorzan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Victor Curea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorel Crăcană hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marin Dindelegan took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Giurgiu. Corneliu Giurgiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. A collision led to CBF Csikszereda getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Petruț Sângeorzan hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Basarab Avram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Giurgiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CBF Csikszereda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
