Filip Vlaicu made a great header on AC MiLaN's corner, it was just that JUVENTUS TORINO's Ernest Ghiciușca managed to reach the ball for a save. Ernest Ghiciușca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Dindelegan in the 15th minute. Ernest Ghiciușca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Vlaicu went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. David Mascovescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. JUVENTUS TORINO's Ernest Ghiciușca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENTUS TORINO from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, AC MiLaN's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Tătaru came free, but Victor Curea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when David Mascovescu made the kick off in the second half. JUVENTUS TORINO's Ernest Ghiciușca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Jatsu in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Văcărescu in the 54th minute of play forced JUVENTUS TORINO's goalkeeper Ernest Ghiciușca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Ghiciușca having to interfere. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUS TORINO's Iustin Tătaru got a free kick in the 57th minute. Filip Vlaicu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernest Ghiciușca. JUVENTUS TORINO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, AC MiLaN's Silvio Jatsu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Ghiciușca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victor Curea made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when David Mascovescu sent off a good shot on target. Iustin Tătaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victor Curea could save by the left post. AC MiLaN's Basarab Avram was substituted for Emil Văcărescu. In the 80th minute JUVENTUS TORINO were awarded a corner. Petre Alecu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Petre Alecu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victor Curea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd minute Eliodor Moisescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Ghiciușca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Alecu's late challenge caught a AC MiLaN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Alecu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to JUVENTUS TORINO getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Petre Alecu hit a great ball. Ernest Ghiciușca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Avram in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Lucian Savu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JUVENTUS TORINO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC MiLaN the free kick.
