The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Puja SE's Árpád Kerekes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Puja SE from getting a goal against them. Árpád Kerekes stood somewhat misplaced when David Mascovescu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. After a rather tough play, Puja SE's Silvestrs Zupenieks got a free kick in the 12th minute. JUVENTUS TORINO's Ernest Ghiciușca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dilmen Akadlı in the 14th minute of play. Iustin Tătaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Tătaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Árpád Kerekes made a huge save. In the 25th minute Dilmen Akadlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Ghiciușca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Árpád Kerekes made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Mascovescu in the 28th minute. Cristinel Geoană fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Kerekes having to interfere. Árpád Kerekes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Mascovescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Árpád Kerekes was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and David Mascovescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Mascovescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dilmen Akadlı to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Mascovescu in the 57th minute of play forced Puja SE's goalkeeper Árpád Kerekes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dilmen Akadlıs short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Ernest Ghiciușca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Horea Tatulici hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. JUVENTUS TORINO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Hasan Tahsin İltemur scored to the left of an out of position Ernest Ghiciușca, making the score, 2-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Árpád Kerekes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Dilmen Akadlı could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Ernest Ghiciușca however easily saved by the left post. 83 minutes into the match, Hasan Tahsin İltemur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernest Ghiciușca, 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS TORINO's goal looked a bit too open when Dilmen Akadlı came free, but Ernest Ghiciușca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Árpád Kerekes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Tătaru in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Puja SE's Márton Szatmári seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Márton Szatmári the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Puja SE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Márton Szatmári had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Puja SE's Árpád Nagy was substituted for Hasan Tahsin İltemur. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Puja SE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JUVENTUS TORINO:s goal. Petre Alecu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 95th minute, Dilmen Akadlı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernest Ghiciușca. The goal made the score 2-3. Puja SE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
