Árpád Kerekes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 played minutes Puja SE got a freekick which was hit by Dilmen Akadlı. Árpád Kerekes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Jatsu in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dilmen Akadlı got free with Victor Curea in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Curea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Tahsin İltemur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvio Jatsu made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Puja SE's Eliodor Manciulea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eliodor Manciulea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Puja SE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eliodor Manciulea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
