With a little luck, Gölle EAC's Jácint Kerekes got control of the ball when David Mascovescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS TORINO's goal looked a bit too open when László Tihanyi came free, but Ernest Ghiciușca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustin Tătaru kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Mascovescu got free with Jácint Kerekes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Gölle EAC's goalkeeper Jácint Kerekes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iustin Tătaru. Gusztáv Bánhegyi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ernest Ghiciușca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gölle EAC. With his leg Jácint Kerekes managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when JUVENTUS TORINO's David Mascovescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. David Mascovescu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jácint Kerekes 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lénárd Tóth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gölle EAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lénárd Tóth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Ghiciușca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Mascovescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jácint Kerekes made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Mascovescu made a kick off. Leonard Grindeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 played minutes Gölle EAC got a freekick which was hit by Richárd Pölöskei. In the 57thth minute of the game David Mascovescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gölle EAC's Jácint Kerekes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gölle EAC booed when JUVENTUS TORINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Măgherușan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iustin Tătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, David Mascovescu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gölle EAC's Jácint Kerekes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iustin Tătaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gusztáv Bánhegyi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gölle EAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gusztáv Bánhegyi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernest Ghiciușca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind JUVENTUS TORINO's goalkeeper Ernest Ghiciușca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristides Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Ghiciușca having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Mascovescu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jácint Kerekes saved Gölle EAC from getting behind. Iustin Tătaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jácint Kerekes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iustin Tătaru ran back to his position shaking his head. JUVENTUS TORINO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
