With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Veres in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Tokody saved AS Mohács from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Veres during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Yeovil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Veres to maneuver through the defense. Attila Veres took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attila Tokody. Attila Tokody dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Yeovil booed when AS Mohács was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Saugman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attila Tokody stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attila Veres's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Attila Veres scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attila Tokody, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the AS Mohács defense, Miklós Szakács kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Attila Tokody. The AS Mohács fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Tokody should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Tamás Menyhért hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. On his own Frigyes Tisza managed to get through Yeovil's defense and was going for a shot in the net, but Marcell Hellinger lunged to the right and managed in the last second get hold of the ball before it was to late. Konrad Saugman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, AS Mohács's János Sipos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcell Hellinger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konrad Saugman was the one to do the kick off. Marcell Hellinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frigyes Tisza, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Yeovil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Veres to maneuver through the defense. Attila Tokody made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attila Veres in the 57th minute. With a little luck, AS Mohács's Attila Tokody got control of the ball when Attila Veres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Attila Veres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Attila Tokody, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frigyes Tisza in the 64th minute of play forced Yeovil's goalkeeper Marcell Hellinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Tokody stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attila Veres's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Attila Veres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Tokody having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Yeovil got a freekick which was hit by 白树志. After a rather tough play, AS Mohács's Cornelio Terrazas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Márk Kántor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Tokody saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, AS Mohács's Konrad Saugman made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcell Hellinger was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Frigyes Tisza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Hellinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Tokody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Veres in the 92nd minute of play. Attila Veres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attila Tokody read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Yeovil supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yeovil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
