The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baransel Selil took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised József Bakos. József Bakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Fcmindmegette's Baransel Selil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. József Bakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Baransel Selil sped through Szõc SI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of József Bakos. In the 15th minute, Baransel Selil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fcmindmegette fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Szõc SI's József Bakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Bollobás in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Baransel Selil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. József Bakos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Márk Szakál cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. József Bakos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Szõc SI's goal looked a bit too open when Baransel Selil came free, but József Bakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szõc SI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fcmindmegette's Márk Szakál was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but József Bakos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márk Szakál in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg József Bakos saved Szõc SI from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Szõc SI's goal looked a bit too open when Baransel Selil came free, but József Bakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Arrigo Musso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. József Bakos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norbert Bollobás hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Carolo Bastiaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Béla Benczur in the 36th minute of the match. József Bakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baransel Selil's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. József Bakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baransel Selil in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Baransel Selil notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Szõc SI's József Bakos. József Bakos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfréd Győri hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Baransel Selil made the kick off in the second half. The Szõc SI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that József Bakos should have stopped the shot. József Bakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baransel Selil in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Szõc SI booed when Fcmindmegette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Bányay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Bastiaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aladár Czene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrigo Musso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. József Bakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fcmindmegette's Andre McAleese suffered a concussion after 66 minutes and had to leave the field. When Zsolt Kelemen fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szõc SI's protests and gave Zsolt Kelemen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Szõc SI getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Zsolt Kelemen hit a great ball. József Bakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baransel Selil in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baransel Selil in the 70th minute of play forced Szõc SI's goalkeeper József Bakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baransel Selil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of József Bakos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Szõc SI's Tibor Kiss got a free kick in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Baransel Selil sped through Szõc SI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of József Bakos. Baransel Selils short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got József Bakos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. József Bakos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-13. Szõc SI's Béla Benczur got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Fcmindmegette left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Szõc SI.
