György Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopez Arrillaga in the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Százhalombattai VUK SE got a freekick which was hit by Sándor Toldi. 7 minutes into the match, Csaba Végvári notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Százhalombattai VUK SE's György Solti. György Solti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lóránt Hoffman got free with György Tóth in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Százhalombattai VUK SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Márió Kállai was slow to take the kick. During this time Zalasárszeg OSE's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Márió Kállai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zalasárszeg OSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Márió Kállai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. György Solti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Zalasárszeg OSE's György Tóth got control of the ball when Lóránt Hoffman tried to sneak it across the goal line. György Solti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Végvári in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goal looked a bit too open when Csaba Végvári came free, but György Solti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Dávid Kerekes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zalasárszeg OSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dávid Kerekes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lopez Arrillaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but György Tóth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Csaba Végvári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. György Solti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lóránt Hoffman was the one to do the kick off. György Solti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márió Kállai in the 56th minute of play. If Lopez Arrillaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zalasárszeg OSE booed when Százhalombattai VUK SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Toldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márton Sárosi during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. György Solti had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Márió Kállai's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Százhalombattai VUK SE's goalkeeper György Solti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márió Kállai. After a defensive mix-up in Százhalombattai VUK SE's zone, Kálmán Gácsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. György Solti came out of the goal and Kálmán Gácsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Kálmán Gácsi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of György Solti, passed just outside the right post. After 72 minutes of play, Százhalombattai VUK SE's Sándor Toldi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. György Tóth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Márió Kállai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lóránt Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Zalasárszeg OSE's Szilárd Tótfalusi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by László Sári, made in the 83rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Százhalombattai VUK SE's György Solti got control of the ball when Márió Kállai tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sándor Toldi in the 94th minute of play forced Zalasárszeg OSE's goalkeeper György Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lóránt Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Zalasárszeg OSE's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Százhalombattai VUK SE had won, even though Zalasárszeg OSE had held more of the ball.
