Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tivadar Demeter made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tivadar Demeter took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gusztáv Horváth. Gusztáv Horváth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Puskás Akadémia's Norbert Gyarmati quite brazenly broke a throw-in by József Varga, made in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12thth minute of the game Tivadar Demeter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puskás Akadémia's Gusztáv Horváth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gusztáv Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Tivadar Demeter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gusztáv Horváth. Puskás Akadémia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tivadar Demeter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gusztáv Horváth came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter. But to his dismay, Tivadar Demeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 26th minute of play forced Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gusztáv Horváth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With an all-out effort, Puskás Akadémia's Arnold Szuper threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ádám Újváry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute, Tivadar Demeter made a precise shot to the right of Gusztáv Horváth. Puskás Akadémia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Gusztáv Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tivadar Demeter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters rose to their feet, but Tivadar Demeter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gusztáv Horváth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márton Koós got free with Arnold Szuper in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tarmo Elken hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ádám Újváry to make the kick off. Gusztáv Horváth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bai Jun Chong in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Tamás Portik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 60th minute of play forced Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tivadar Demeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gusztáv Horváth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tivadar Demeter ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gusztáv Horváth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong was substituted for Tivadar Demeter. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ede Erős in the 71st minute of the match. Lei Jian Xiong scored 0-8 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gusztáv Horváth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Tarmo Elken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szombathely Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarmo Elken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Szombathely Squirrels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luciano Aued in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Lei Jian Xiong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gusztáv Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Puskás Akadémia's goalkeeper Gusztáv Horváth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lei Jian Xiong. Gusztáv Horváth made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lei Jian Xiong sent off a good shot on target. Puskás Akadémia's Gusztáv Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Szombathely Squirrels left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Puskás Akadémia.
