That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Boruc Drab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aladár Takács's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Aladár Takács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Drab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Olad's Botond Détári got control of the ball when Spencer Pfeffer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boruc Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aladár Takács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes FC Olad got a freekick which was hit by István Angyal. When FC Olad's Aladár Takács in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After recieving a nice pass, FC Olad's András Győrfi tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when István Sági stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domonkos Keserű in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Botond Détári saved FC Olad from getting behind. Boruc Drab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aladár Takács in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Steel Tigers's goalkeeper Boruc Drab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aladár Takács. Boruc Drab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aladár Takács went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Aladár Takács kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boruc Drab. That made the score 1-4 in the 65 minute of play. FC Olad made a substitution. János Bán replaced Zsolt Kaszás. At last the ball reached Árpád Kardos at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Steel Tigers. 1-5. Lóránt Vörös took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boruc Drab. Boruc Drab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 83rdth minute of the game Aladár Takács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steel Tigers's Boruc Drab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boruc Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Árpád Kardos, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 92 played minutes Steel Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Algitas Daškevičius. Wieslaw Waldoch lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
