Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bertil Albäck took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Albäck in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attila Mesterházy saved Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC from getting behind. 6 minutes into the game, Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attila Mesterházy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bertil Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Attila Mesterházy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertil Albäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attila Mesterházy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Albäck ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Bertil Albäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Mesterházy was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Herberto Mascarenhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertil Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bertil Albäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attila Mesterházy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Albäck ran back to his position shaking his head. Attila Mesterházy came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck. But to his dismay, Bertil Albäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when László Madaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Albäck came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attila Mesterházy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Albäck in the 58th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Bertil Albäck lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Attila Mesterházy. When Bertil Albäck came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Pénzügyőr SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertil Albäck couldn't finish the play. Zsombor Medve made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marin Manea immediately put the ball in play. If Herberto Mascarenhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC got a freekick which was hit by László Madaras. The crowd rose to their feet as Herberto Mascarenhas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Attila Mesterházy. That made the score 0-7 in the 78 minute of play. Bertil Albäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bertil Albäck took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. A nice corner shot did that Herberto Mascarenhas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Attila Mesterházy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vencel Mezei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máté Elek, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Herberto Mascarenhas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Attila Mesterházy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Pénzügyőr SE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC throughout the match.
