An unexpectedly hard shot by András Törőcsik in the 20th minute of play forced Pénzügyőr SE's goalkeeper Vencel Mezei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Törőcsik in the 33rd minute of play. Márton Soós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Kun having to make a save. After 40 minutes Pénzügyőr SE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Géza Tamás who took care of the corner kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

András Törőcsik came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vencel Mezei could save by the left post. Márk Czakó might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vencel Mezei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márk Czakó ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Pénzügyőr SE's zone, András Törőcsik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencel Mezei came out of the goal and András Törőcsik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
