When Miladin Kirichev came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hungarian Olympic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miladin Kirichev couldn't finish the play. Gábor Király showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 12th minute of the match. Miladin Kirichev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gábor Király tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tamás Antal fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Henter Somosd's protests and gave Tamás Antal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Henter Somosd getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tamás Antal hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Endre Révész sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gábor Király skillfully saved the ball. After 25 minutes Hungarian Olympic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnd Schade who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Arnd Schade almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungarian Olympic's Lukács Bánhegyi did a great save. Frank Mees's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lukács Bánhegyi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the game Teo Honesto made a throw-in which Mátyás Zakariás played forward. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miladin Kirichev in the 33rd minute of play. Lukács Bánhegyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Mees, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute FC Henter Somosd were awarded a corner. Arnd Schade went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hungarian Olympic's Teo Honesto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wilian Baptista in the 55 minute of the game. Gábor Király made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endre Révész in the 57th minute of play. Ernesto Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gábor Király tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Miladin Kirichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gábor Király saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristóf Szőllőssy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Gábor Király showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miladin Kirichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of FC Henter Somosd booed when Hungarian Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miladin Kirichev in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Belarmo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gábor Király saved FC Henter Somosd from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Mees in the 74th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Lukács Bánhegyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Ernesto Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Henter Somosd's Gábor Király was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gábor Király took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miladin Kirichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Mees in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lukács Bánhegyi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lukács Bánhegyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Mees in the 89th minute. Lukács Bánhegyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, FC Henter Somosd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnd Schade to maneuver through the defense.
