Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pál Benkó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szilárd Kodály in the 4th minute of the match. Zsolt Simon hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Oskar Mure made a precise shot to the right of Pál Benkó. Leeds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ferenc Vass scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pál Benkó, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes Ricsi 75 got a freekick which was hit by Róbert Nyíri. In the 16th minute, János Kelemen made a precise shot to the right of Pál Benkó. Leeds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Pál Benkó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szilárd Kodály went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihály Szikora during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pál Benkó didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskar Mure went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Pál Benkó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Mure, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Leeds defense, Oskar Mure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pál Benkó. The Leeds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pál Benkó should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Szilárd Kodály to make the kick off. Pál Benkó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferenc Vass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Leeds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Salgó to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskar Mure got free with Pál Benkó in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Imre Selymes fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds's protests and gave Imre Selymes a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Leeds got a freekick which was hit by Imre Selymes. Leeds's Pál Benkó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Vass in the 64th minute of play. Pál Benkó was a little too slow when Oskar Mure got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Vass in the 68th minute of play forced Leeds's goalkeeper Pál Benkó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Róbert Nyíri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Pál Benkó was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márton Salgó during the 73rd minute. The supporters of Ricsi 75 booed when Leeds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Simon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szilárd Kodály got free with Pál Benkó in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes Imre Selymes shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Kornél Révész when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferenc Vass kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pál Benkó. That made the score 0-11 in the 87 minute of play. Pál Benkó was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Szilárd Kodály showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 90 minute of play.
