Marcell Túri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Barnabás Karsai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kristóf Sipos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 19 minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Sibaris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imre Bányai to maneuver through the defense. Soma Iványi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcell Túri having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sibaris's Barnabás Karsai threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kristóf Sipos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcell Túri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soma Iványi in the 36th minute of play. Ferencvarosi TC's Soma Iványi got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Soma Iványi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ferencvarosi TC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ferencvarosi TC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
