Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konstantinos Kroustallis might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjámin Szabadi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstantinos Kroustallis ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the game, Zoltán Varga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benjámin Szabadi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sajószöged KTK booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Varga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sajószöged KTK's Benjámin Szabadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Varga in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjámin Szabadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. When Konstantinos Kroustallis came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gyál United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantinos Kroustallis couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Konstantinos Kroustallis notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Sajószöged KTK's Benjámin Szabadi. Benjámin Szabadi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gyál United's Zoltán Varga in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sajószöged KTK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 45th minute of play forced Sajószöged KTK's goalkeeper Benjámin Szabadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjámin Szabadi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Varga went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.

The crowd rose to their feet as Zoltán Varga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjámin Szabadi. That made the score 0-9 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Gyál United's Zoltán Varga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjámin Szabadi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Benjámin Szabadi came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Erwin Bienvenu. But to his dismay, Erwin Bienvenu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Zoltán Varga kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Breckenfeld got free with Benjámin Szabadi in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Walmir Breckenfeld made a precise shot to the right of Benjámin Szabadi. Sajószöged KTK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Zoltán Varga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Benjámin Szabadi made a huge save. In the 79th minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjámin Szabadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sajószöged KTK's Benjámin Szabadi got control of the ball when Walmir Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Gyál United's Benjámin Szabadi threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Konstantinos Kroustallis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benjámin Szabadi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Breckenfeld went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the game, Sulev Aare recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benjámin Szabadi. Sulev Aare showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Deivid Trigo got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Sajószöged KTK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gyál United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
