Bálint Szaniszló made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Konstantinos Kroustallis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bálint Szaniszló stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zoltán Varga's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. FC RED BUL's Bálint Szaniszló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Varga in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, FC RED BUL's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Varga came free, but Bálint Szaniszló reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Zoltán Varga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bálint Szaniszló was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gyál United booed when FC RED BUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Alpsoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bálint Szaniszló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Varga in the 21st minute of play. When Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Varga in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bálint Szaniszló prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Hüseyin Alpsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Petran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Walmir Breckenfeld notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC RED BUL's Bálint Szaniszló. Bálint Szaniszló was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüseyin Alpsoy to make the kick off. When Viktor Kassai fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC RED BUL's protests and gave Viktor Kassai a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gyál United booed when FC RED BUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Kassai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bálint Szaniszló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Zsombor Szegh kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hüseyin Alpsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Horaţiu Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deivid Trigo went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the FC RED BUL defense, Walmir Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bálint Szaniszló. The FC RED BUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bálint Szaniszló should have stopped the shot. Bálint Szaniszló showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Varga in the 91st minute of the match. Walmir Breckenfeld's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Bálint Szaniszló skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Walmir Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Bálint Szaniszló to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 96 played minutes FC RED BUL got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kassai. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gyál United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
