Ingars Miders struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Eleuterio Daunte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macaco F.C.. In the 15th minute, Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 16 minutes into the game, Akis Remoundos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monky FC's German Guillelmus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 18th minute Ceferino Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Monky FC's Ceferino Mel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Campos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eleuterio Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 23rd minute of play. Jorge Campos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Natal in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingars Miders came free, but Eleuterio Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Daunte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingars Miders, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Monky FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Macaco F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. German Guillelmus took the corner. The corner ended in German Guillelmus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos did a great save. 61 minutes into the match, Monky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink came free, but Eleuterio Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes Monky FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermínio Cavalcante who took care of the corner kick. Luisinho Lira made a great header on Macaco F.C.'s corner, it was just that Monky FC's Eleuterio Daunte managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 73rd minute Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Navarro's late challenge caught a Macaco F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Macaco F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
