In the 9th minute of the match Ajax Colombiano got a corner. Kolopetinitsa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joppe Hvenegaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ajax Colombiano's Joppe Hvenegaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Stergios Samartzis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cacá Ba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajax Colombiano's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Ba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stergios Samartzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eguzki Montecino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Errapel Aguiluz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Baba Ba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joppe Hvenegaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stergios Samartzis. Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Baba Ba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Stergios Samartzis made a huge save. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Ajax Colombiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadzio Buruaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Ajax Colombiano's Baba Ba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stergios Samartzis. Stergios Samartzis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 75thth minute of the game Baba Ba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kolopetinitsa's Stergios Samartzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivon Gasca. After 78 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Panagopoulos. Kolopetinitsa's Stergios Samartzis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Kolopetinitsa from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Kolopetinitsa's protests and gave Nasos Aggeliou a yellow card for diving instead. A beautiful save bye Kolopetinitsa's goalie prevented a goal. After 113 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Ivon Gasca. Dionysis Salaggoudis hit a great freekick 114 minutes into the match.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Baba Ba to make the kick off. In the 122nd minute, Makis Psomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stergios Samartzis was out of position in the 127 minute of play, and Amado Ba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amado Ba really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.
