Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filip Hosu started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Jonathan Onyii dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidiu Marin, 2-0. Fred Rutto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Marin made a huge save. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Onyii received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ovidiu Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Annscroft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Mungai didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Jurăscu in the 23rd minute of play forced Annscroft's goalkeeper Abdallah Ali Maina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Cosula-BTF- made a substitution. Gigi Ababei replaced Ciprian Gaiță. Julius Asati hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Dacian Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdallah Ali Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Onyii received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ovidiu Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Filip Hosu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cosula-BTF- and the Annscroft players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Cosula-BTF- getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Filip Hosu hit a great ball. Abdallah Ali Maina came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu. But to his dismay, Dacian Jurăscu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Annscroft booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Mărăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Kariuki in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Cosula-BTF-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroun Korir was slow to take the kick. During this time Annscroft's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Haroun Korir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Marin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fred Kariuki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ovidiu Marin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Gigi Ababei got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Kariuki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filip Hosu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdallah Ali Maina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Alin Bucur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdallah Ali Maina skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Annscroft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroun Korir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Annscroft's Abdallah Ali Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Irimescu in the 55th minute of play. Jonathan Onyii sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdallah Ali Maina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Onyii received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ovidiu Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Marin came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Annscroft's Jonathan Onyii. But to his dismay, Jonathan Onyii quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Filip Hosu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdallah Ali Maina having to interfere. With a little luck, Annscroft's Abdallah Ali Maina got control of the ball when Dacian Jurăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Fred Kariuki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ovidiu Marin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Dacian Jurăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacian Jurăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Abdallah Ali Maina made a huge save. Annscroft's Abdallah Ali Maina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Annscroft from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Fred Kariuki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ovidiu Marin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Annscroft walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
