After 4 played minutes, FC Brink's Romeo Balint shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Huygens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Brink reached it. Anatoliy Lobanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Anatoliy Lobanov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pompiliu Zmărăndescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Nørlyk in the 24th minute of play forced FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelian Voinea made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dragons EC's Claudinho Braga. 29 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Mule came free, but Casper Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Adam Nørlyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, FC Brink's goalkeeper Pompiliu Zmărăndescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anatoliy Lobanov. Dragons EC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after FC Brink's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adam Nørlyk took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in José Alagoano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The throw-in from Aurelian Voinea in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dragons EC's Claudinho Braga. Casper Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Mule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dragons EC booed when FC Brink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Balint didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dragons EC's attentive Claudinho Braga managed to snatch the ball when Aurelian Voinea made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Gheorghe Herea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gheorghe Herea came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Brink fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gheorghe Herea couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Mule came free, but Casper Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anatoliy Lobanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatoliy Lobanov in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gheorghe Herea could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Casper Huygens however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Anatoliy Lobanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragons EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatoliy Lobanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waldemar Mule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Huygens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Mule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Nørlyk charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Nørlyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adam Nørlyk kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anatoliy Lobanov in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Zmărăndescu saved FC Brink from getting behind.
